Back to School

"Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!" -Romans 11:33

Teachers are now back to school. We are having times of inservice in the mornings, with afternoons available to work in classrooms. We start our day with a time of worship and prayer. After that, my roommate Kim is giving workshops on behavior management. Later in the morning, I do my presentations. Today we covered the school calendar for the semester. It's going to be a busy semester!

I have found myself in meetings all afternoon. Today I met with a teacher who is also now a housedad. We talked about the need for rules of conduct at school between the guys and girls. After that, I met with my legal director to plan our inservice training for tomorrow. I left school on time today, with a headache from dehydration. I cannot forget my water bottle tomorrow.

When I got home, I met with a student who is struggling spiritually. I hope some of what I shared will encourage her.

It's been a quiet evening at home. Now off to bed!
